Windows drops below 90% market share for the first time in years; Windows 7 falls below 50%

Microsoft's total share of the operating system market has dropped below 90% for the first time in at least a decade. Windows 7 dipped below 50% as well last month, but it's still the most popular Microsoft OS by a long shot.
