Microsoft has released a new "convenience rollup" for Windows 7 that's effectively a second service pack for the venerable OS. It should make updating and building systems much simpler for existing Windows 7 customers -- and it doesn't include any of the updates meant to push Windows 10 on to consumer PCs.
