The International Space Station is getting a major computer upgrade, thanks to a new project between HP and NASA. Two HP servers will be tested on the ISS in normal configurations to measure the impact of radiation on conventional circuits and devices as opposed to the radiation-hardened chips that NASA ordinarily uses.
